Heather is an LPC, LCADC, Level I & II EMDR practitioner and have had extensive training in trauma. Heather is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors and is an Approved Clinical Supervisor through the NBCC Center for Credentialing and Education. In 2018, Lighthouse Counseling and Training Center LLC added two new trainers to teach the Lighthouse Sand Play Therapy technique (Heather Koenigsfest, LPC) and began offering their comprehensive Certificate in Sand Play Training curriculum at Lighthouse Counseling in Eatontown, NJ.
